Organizational Advancement Strategic Project Team

CISV International is recruiting for the newly created strategic project team focused on Organizational Advancement. The Strategic Project Team will be responsible for creating a medium-to-long-term organizational advancement strategy; including at a minimum, individual giving, institutional giving, partnerships including grants, and other mechanisms to facilitate the organizational advancement of CISV International.

Background
At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, international travel essentially screeched to a halt. For the first time since 1951, no CISV programmes were held – no delegations travelling through airports in matching shirts, no chapter volunteers preparing the final details at the village camp site, no host families, no excursion days, no open days.

As an organization primarily delivering in-person, international learning opportunities for 70+ years, CISV International was – as many organizations found themselves – unprepared for a devastating series of crises which grounded global travel and halted life as we knew it.

CISV International is prioritizing fundraising, outreach, and potential external partnerships and resources to restore the organization to a healthy position as quickly as possible. Additionally, CISV aims to use organizational advancement initiatives to support urgent and high-priority projects that cannot wait until the organization slowly rebuilds our finances, ensuring that we can continue to advance specific projects without burning out our limited human resources.

Members of this team will have the opportunity to create CISV International’s approach to organizational advancement for the future.

Application Instructions
Applicants from all regions are encouraged to apply. You do not need to be a current member of a CISV chapter to join this team.

All information on the position and application are provided in the following documents:
