Your Year

There’s no doubt we hit some roadblocks in 2020. While 2021 continues to be a challenging year across the world with travel restrictions still in place, CISV remains committed to our mission to educate and inspire action for a more just and peaceful world.

We understand that many participants and families are upset they won’t get to take part in an international CISV programme, while Chapters are worried about dwindling support, however, we remain hopeful for a brighter future.

The ‘This is Y/Our Year’ Campaign

What is happening around the world may be bigger than CISV, but we are ultimately still thinking about our community – our supporters, volunteers, CISVers and their families. Rather than focusing on an uncertain future, we’re taking back some control. 2021 is not just your year – it’s also ours.

If your Chapter or NA is organising an event or programme, we want to know about it. It would be great to hear from all our Chapters and NAs from around the world so that we can share both inside and outside of CISV the opportunities for educational experiences and engagement opportunities in our various local communities.
