At CISV International, we believe in the power of education to inspire action for a more just and peaceful world. For decades, our programmes have brought together young people from around the globe to learn, grow, and lead. But as our community has grown, so have our digital needs.
That’s why we’re excited to announce a major step forward: we’re replacing our current myCISV platform with a modern, secure, and user-friendly system that will better serve our global network of participants, volunteers, and staff.
🚨 Why Now?
The current myCISV system has been a vital part of our operations—but it’s showing its age. As we expand our reach and deepen our impact, we need a platform that can keep up with:
- 80,000+ user profiles across 60 countries
- Evolving data privacy and safeguarding standards
- The need for mobile-first, accessible design
- Seamless integration with tools like Microsoft 365, Moodle, and more
We’re not just upgrading technology—we’re reimagining how we support our community.
🎯 What We Aim to Achieve
This new platform will be more than a system—it will be a digital foundation for the future of CISV. Our goals include:
- A better user experience for everyone—from 11-year-old participants to seasoned volunteers
- Stronger data protection and compliance with global standards like GDPR
- Smarter programme management, with real-time insights and automation
- Streamlined communication and collaboration across borders
- Scalable, sustainable technology that grows with us
🛠️ What’s the Process?
We’ve launched a Request for Proposal (RFP) to find the right partner to help us build this platform. Here’s what the process looks like:
- May 27 – RFP published
- July 1 – Deadline to register interest
- August 5 – Proposal submission deadline
- September – Vendor interviews and selection
- Late 2025 – Project kickoff and phased implementation
We’re looking for a solution that balances innovation with practicality—ideally a customizable off-the-shelf platform that avoids complex bespoke development.
