Global Roles

Committees
The Education and Research Committee is looking for members to join and support further development of the CISV peace education offer.
Are you an experienced educator who is passionate about supporting a global organisation to further develop our peace education offer? Do you have experience in creating educational curricula and conveying education via multiple approaches? Are you able to assess the impact of education on participants and adjust learning accordingly?

Working Groups & Teams
This is a great opportunity for volunteers interested in data analysis and visualisation.
As a member of the Data Team, you will be volunteering and supporting the work of Committees, Strategic Project Teams, and the International Office to design data gathering mechanisms and analyse results. You will support CISV International during consultation periods, impact reporting, and defining metrics that help the organisation make better decisions and showcase our impact.
Who We're Looking For:
- Technologists and problem solvers with experience in data management and data visualisation.
- Understanding the ethical implications of data collection, storage, and usage.
- Those with a strong desire to explore and understand data deeply, and a willingness to work with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities Include:
- Designing Data Gathering Mechanisms:
- Engage in research, draft and review documents, and work with stakeholders to develop and implement effective data gathering strategies.
- Understand and meet the data needs of our committees, strategic project teams, and departments.
- Analysing and Visualising Data:
- Perform statistical analysis to extract insights and create impactful visualisations using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Supporting Understanding of Results:
- Convert complex data issues into actionable plans.
- Stay updated on data science advancements and apply best practices.
- Provide accurate data analysis for consultation periods and impact reports.
Commitment:
Members will work independently joining different projects and teams for short periods of times, joining occasional meetings, and working asynchronously. Together they will work directly with the Communications Team at CISV International.

As a Translator you will contribute to making our guides and information more accessible!
With your advanced knowledge in English and your native language, you will help us translating our official documents and in occasions interpreting online webinars and meetings for our non-native English-speaking members. You will support CISV’s internal communication efforts with your knowledge.
Who We're Looking For:
- Excellent vocabulary and solid understanding of grammar in both languages.
- Advance English knowledge and in (at least) one additional language.
- Be informed on our programmes and basic understanding of CISV's approach to peace education.
Responsibilities Include:
- Translate our official documents into different languages to ensure that the content is maintained and articulated professionally.
- Support special events such as townhalls, general meetings, and other key online activities with live language interpretation from English to another language and vice-versa.
Commitment:
This role will work by project and we will benefit of the time you can contribute in a short or long term.

Americas
CISV International is currently recruiting people to take on the role of International Trainer in the Americas region. As an International Trainer, you are responsible for delivering high-quality training to a diverse audience of volunteers, which may include leaders, staff, board members, and Chapter volunteers. You will deliver training within your defined area of experience through in-person, online, and/or virtual formats. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Operational Committees and other members of the Regional Team to ensure that the training content and delivery approach remain current and effective.
We are particularly interested in applicants with experience to deliver Train the Trainer (TTT) and/or Seminar Camp.

Europe, Middle East and Africa
CISV International is currently recruiting a volunteer to take on the role of Member Support Coordinator for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Member Support Coordinators are a pivotal link between National Associations (and their Chapters) and CISV International. They are the first point of contact for an National Association (NA) and able to provide support, advice, and guidance on a wide range of topics.
This is a fairly regular and consistent role throughout the year, and requires international travel roughly once or twice per year.
This role would suit someone with a good knowledge of CISV who loves to offer support and to build relationships across the globe.
