Who can be staff or a leader?
All adult staff and leaders in an international programme must be at least 21 years old and a member of a CISV Association, with a minimum of one staff member in each team who is at least 25 years old.
Provided other requirements are fulfilled, junior staff (aged 18+) may be able to take part if they are from the host National Association. Mosaic and Interchange may accept junior staff who are at least 18 years old.
How do you apply?
Anyone applying for a position of programme responsibility (including staff, leaders, JCs, junior staff/leaders) must:
- fill in a Staff Leader Application Form and send it to the person in your National Association who is responsible for staff selection;
- ask two referees to complete the official CISV Reference Form and forward them directly to the person in their National Association who is responsible for staff selection;
- work with the person in your home National Association who is responsible for staff and leader selection to arrange for a police check (where possible according to national law) to be carried out and sent to that person for review.

All international programme staff members must be members of a CISV Association and be at least 21 years of age.
Chapters/National Associations wishing to invite staff members from another National Association to staff a programme which it is hosting, can contact their Educational Programmes Regional Delivery Team to discuss staffing needs, or ask the International Office to place a call out on international programme staff opportunities.
Before a Chapter/National Association appoints an international staff member, they are required to contact the candidate’s CISV Association. The International Office should be informed of any appointments. You can find more information on the ‘Specific Procedures for International Staff’ in the Programme Guides.
