We believe that strategic planning is an essential component that should be at the heart of the work of our Chapters and NAs/PAs, guiding and empowering our volunteers in their contribution towards a more just and peaceful world.
Strategic planning helps NAs and Chapters to do the longer-term planning for their work and activities beyond the shorter-term planning of programmes and annual work plans.
A recipe for successful strategic planning includes future dreams and visions, as well as a hint of realism. When mixed well and planned with a group of key volunteers, the result is an ambitious but realistic strategic plan for the next three years.
