A unique opportunity to contribute to global governance while deepening your knowledge of leadership and peace education.
As our new Governing Board Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our global leadership operations. Working alongside the Chair of the Governing Board and the Secretary General, you will help ensure smooth and professional management of CISV International’s Governing Board meetings and documentation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary General in organising and coordinating Governing Board meetings (virtual and in-person).
- Managing pre- and post-meeting logistics: creating schedules, preparing agendas, distributing materials, and drafting official minutes.
- Maintaining document management standards, action item tracking, and key governance records.
- Supporting real-time agenda adjustments and time-keeping during meetings.
- Ensuring that all governance-related reporting requirements are met on time.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A highly organised, proactive individual with excellent communication skills.
- Someone with a professional, discreet, and flexible approach, able to maintain the strict confidentiality required for this role.
- Ideally, experience in board administration or governance, or someone keen to learn.
- Comfortable working cross-culturally with international stakeholders.
- Not currently holding a leadership role within a CISV Association, Chapter, or CISV International (excluding the Governance Committee).
Commitment & Term:
- Approximately 10–15 hours per month.
- Minimum 3-year term, with a possibility to renew once.
- Attendance at all monthly and quarterly Governing Board meetings is expected.
