Regional Roles
CISV International Trainers deliver endorsed training to volunteers in their area of experience through in-person, online and/or virtual formats. Trainers also support and assess trainees, provide feedback on the curriculum and learner experience, adapt their delivery to different audiences and contribute to keeping CISV training effective and relevant.
International Trainers in EMEA form part of the Regional Team and work closely with the Regional Manager and other Regional Team members, including Event Logistics Supporters and Member Support Coordinators.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver Risk Management training in different events across the region
- Participate on Regional Team calls where we’ll discuss RM – related matters
- Provide feedback on training sructure and content
What we’re looking for:
- We are therefore looking for volunteers with relevant Risk Management experience and current relevant CISV certification who are interested in progressing through the International Trainer pathway.
- Previous experience as a trainer is not required. This is an opportunity for experienced Risk Management volunteers to develop their training skills through appropriate support, shadowing and future co-training opportunities.
As part of this recruitment, we have an immediate opportunity for one selected volunteer to join the EMEA Regional Training Forum in Lyon, France, from 21–25 October 2026 as a Shadow Risk Management Trainer.
The selected volunteer will work alongside the experienced primary Risk Management Trainer, gaining practical experience in the delivery of the RM training and beginning their development within the International Trainer pathway.
Applicants who would like to be considered for this opportunity must be available to travel to Lyon for the RTF dates.
You can still apply if you are not available for Lyon. This recruitment is intended to develop a wider pool of Risk Management Trainers for EMEA, and further shadowing/co-training opportunities may be identified according to future regional training needs.
